Bhuvana

  1. She seems to have a mixed bag of expressions in her eyes.. anger, sadness and a slight derision, all captured beautifully. Great portrait!

  2. She looks worn out to me. Are you going to tell us her story?

  3. Well.. to be honest, there is no story as such. Bhuvana's parents are Sri Lankan repatriates settled in Nilgiris. She has been living with us for more than six years now. She is family.

She was engrossed in a particularly cheesy (at least i thought so)soap that was running on TV when i successfully nagged her enough to pose for a picture:)... yes yes.. the perils of having to live with a photographer!

  4. Reminds me of that girl who starred in Maniratnam's Kannathil Muttamiltal. Lovely portrait. Nice story.

  5. Ah, now that we know her story we know that her look says, "Just get on with it can you. Can't you see I'm engrossed in a cheesy soap."

  7. She has such an intense look in her eyes - without your explanation, one could easily imagine a million stories. The actual explanation sort of deflates THAT balloon, but great pic, nevertheless :)
