Some of them have vague memories of a distant village to which they had once belonged. They find nothing to complain about their makeshift home or the food they eat; for they have known no better. Their parents had come to Bangalore from Tumkur village (about 70km from Bangalore) in search of a better living and jobs in the construction industry.
