    ive used a flash for the shot. covered the flash light with gasoline paper (i think thats what its called, the colored translucent plastic-ky paper) and took the shot a few seconds before sunset. Had experimented with different colours (red + green paper, green+ blue etc etc) to match the colour of the sky. Finalized on this one.
