By now, I've gotten used to the power cuts in the city. And i love the candle lights. Acting on a sudden impulse today, i took some pictures of my family during those moments of 'darkness' ;0D
Well I guess your flash provided a little more light. Mum to dad, "Uh-oh, there goes the power again. Ask Jyothy to get her camera in here fast, can you?"
ha ha...naa.. Actually i havent used flash at all.. these images were shot at a high ISO(film speed).. at 1600.. so the candlelight was more than enough.
Beautiful! Your mum looks so pretty in the candle-light (even though I've never seen her before!) :) Sometimes the best shots come from spontaneous candidness, no?

ReplyDeletehave you not used long exposure for these photos ? Nice ones :)
ReplyDelete@Uday
ReplyDeleteNot very long.. at 1600 ISO, and f4 for the aperture, i could get enough light for 1/3sec.. that was good enough to get a picture without a shake ..
very nice shot!!
ReplyDelete:) Make the most of whatever light you have. :)
